Midnight Ghost Hunt THE BUSTERS!
22It was midnight and the night was eerily still. I was excited because this was the night – the night our group, affectionately called The Busters, were going on a hunt for ghosts. We had been hearing reports of strange sightings and noises every night, and we had just acquired the best ghost hunting equipment that money could buy. We were ready to take on any paranormal activity that came our way.
Our group consisted of seven people. Jack was the leader of the pack; he had an laid-back air about him, but he was passionate about finding out the truth behind the mysteries. Dylan was the tech-guy of our group; he knew his stuff when it came to all of the gadgets and video surveillance. Ella was our historian- she was the one who studied the supernatural and kept us all abreast of the latest findings. Sage was our resident psychic and shaman- she could sense ghosts and could negotiate with them on our behalf. Ryan was the muscle of the group- he was always ready to help with any physical tasks that needed doing. Max was the observer- he would take note of anything strange that caught his eye. And finally, there was me- the journalist/photographer who documented the evenings and wrote about our experiences as they unfolded.
We arrived at the location and began setting up our equipment. Things had been very quiet when all of a sudden I heard a noise coming from behind me. I quickly spun around, expecting to see something, but there was nothing there. Everyone began to look around wildly, trying to find the source of the noise. We then heard another noise coming from the front entrance of the building. We slowly crept up towards the entrance and there, just beyond the threshold, stood a mysterious figure in a long, dark cloak with a hood covering its face. It was a ghost!
We were all frozen in shock for a few moments before Jack, with determination in his voice, stepped forward and said “We’ve come to investigate the reports of paranormal activity here. We have no wish to harm you or anyone else. Please, let us help.” The ghost just stood there, silent for a moment, before finally saying “very well, follow me.”
And so, The Busters accepted the ghost’s invitation and followed it into the dark and eerie depths of the building. The ghost guided us through the building, showing us various strange things and giving us insight into the mysteries that were occurring here. As we finally made our way outside, the ghost bid us farewell, thanking us for our help and shortly disappearing into the night.
We had done it! The Busters had solved yet another mystery! I thought to myself as we all smiled and began to make our way home. We had succeeded in our midnight ghost hunt, and for that I was grateful.
