Craig makes a great demonstration of Mike Austin's compound pivot. Note at the top of the swing, the only part of the body forward of the center line is the left foreleg, which represents about 5% of the body's mass. 95% of the body's mass is on or behind the center line - vastly superior to the average PGA Tour swing.
This is the only way to effectively shift the body's weight behind the ball and keep the head relatively still. This gives us maximum power and precision!
