Misery Mondays: Chapter 5 Marathon
0As I mentioned in the Danganronpa 2 Discussion video, pretty much all of the videos in the Misery Mondays series were recorded in 1280x720 and at 60 frames per seconds. However, when I put the raw recording files through Handbrake in order to get usable footage for Premiere Pro, I didn’t realise it was automatically cropping the very slight black borders around the outside of the frame. Because I was creating sequences from those clips, the video files are slightly smaller than 1280x720 and as a result the YouTube uploads do not recognise it as that resolution and will only go up to a maximum of 480p. By the time I noticed, the entire series was uploaded and scheduled for upload, so there was nothing I could do with all the episodes from 4 onwards.
That’s where these videos come in. It’s pretty dumb that those videos are forced to be of lower resolution, but I also don’t want to unlist and reupload versions that are 720p. As a result, I came up with the idea to create full videos compiling each chapter into separate videos. I couldn’t have everything in one video because Premiere Pro doesn’t allow videos longer than 24 hours (to my knowledge) so this is the next best thing.
I should stress that these videos are pretty much the exact same as the solo uploads with some minor tweaks and edits to fix errors and the like. You don’t have to be here for the whole premiere, I know that 6+ hours is pretty daunting especially if timezones make it run through the early morning hours.
