Continuing their flight from Greyfield, Brenner's Wolves find themselves at another rundown city with no survivors but evidence that they seemed to have fought amongst themselves for some reason. Before they can dwell on it for very long, Dr. Caulder is close by along with his eldest daughter Tabitha who is -more- than eager to see our heroes break with some new "toys" received from Daddy Dearest. Tasha ends up being the unfortunate soul in her sights.

Along the path is a giant mounted gun battery tower called a Talon Gun, a weapon that can deal big damage to multiple targets in its range all at once. Tasha must make a swift bombing run at it to destroy it before Tabitha steps on her.

With the Talon Gun turned into scrap, Dr. Morris tells our party some horrifying news - that Creeper virus that was seen earlier has mutated to affect adults now and in a faster rate. He ends up having to test the whole of the Wolves and civilians to see who has symptoms. The results are poor - half of them are already infected and a cure is not in feasible reach at this time. Normally this alone would cause morale to falter but when Greyfield catches up to the party, it's downright chaos as all the civilians and soldiers begin to point fingers at each other. Will has to rally everyone together to keep the party from imploding on itself and beat back Greyfield.

The tide continues to work against them until morale begins to break on the New Rubinelle Army side as well...
