So after finally playing BF3 for the last few videos, which at this point is a 10 year old game with enjoyable nostalgia, its far from the perfect experience that many people claim to be, I'm one hundred percent sure that most people who highly regard this game is looking through rose tinted glasses; BF3 has clunky movement, low tick rate, weapon ballistics, and a infuriating visual aesthetic that takes away and impairs player with the access use of its visual "suppression" mechanic and Lens flares, the subsequent games after BF3 polished that core experience and offer up much more in content, and at this point in the games post launch after 10 years the community is all but dead and limited to less then a few servers, yet I longed to experience the games maps. That's were the amazing mod "Venice Unleashed comes in! VU (a.k.a. Venice Unleashed) is a modding and improvement framework for Battlefield 3. It offers a variety of features, such as the ability to host private dedicated servers, high frequency / tickrate servers, configurable suppression and color correction (ie. you can disable the blue tint), and extensive modding capabilities. With it, you can join servers offering custom experiences (such as the BF3 Reality Mod) or create your own using the modding tools.
