This is vid-1 of me and Ludovic getting ready to hunt in spite of showing some of our friends who were retired hunters of how to smash up a Cerphadrome in the most silliest way possible. This is the normal (Easy) rank version of him, not G-Level yet. On this vid, I'm in the front using a hammer with my secondary character for a bit of a more fair fight to show a slightly recommended armor set for beginners for offense damage. Random note: My b/f said something in the back.

The Kut-Ku set gives the following when rigged properly:
Attack Up (small),
Fire Defense Up (5 percent),
HP boost (small, +10),
Quick Sharpening (rigged by me),
Water Defense loss (-5 penalty)

This is not recommended for elemental defense however because some of Cerphadrome's attacks are Water Element, so be careful that it's shifting the fight to a decisive match.... (also notice how I'm somewhat terrible with the hammer, lol!)

The most effective way to drive out this boss is to bombard him with Sonic Bombs when he is near (create these with Screamer + Bomb Material); alternatively the other ways to stop him is to also use "Supersonic Waves" song with a hunting horn (Yellow Note x3) or smash the ground with a hammer type weapon when he's close. If still not good enough, the second recommended melee weapon is the Long Sword since it has good reach, power, and a back-slash counter attack.

When he's driven out, there's a chance that he'll be quite angry, so watch out! The most effective elemental weapons against him are thunder element types, or alternatively fire element types. If his dorsal fin is looking funny (flopped low or as if cut off mostly, or just plain messed up like this), he's in critical condition and will certainly try to run away soon. He'll flee to either area 9 (the spot with bugs and thieves near the hidden village. Seldom seen here) or 3 (the spot with Apceros near the lake, a wide room. High chance he'll be here) and try to sleep it off. Find and finish him off to end the boss fight; bombard him, or ready a shock trap and catch him alive with two tranq-bombs to the face if one has arrived there fast enough.

So far he has several annoying attacks to be on the watch out for:
-underground based-
1- Sand Rocket (water damage),
2- Triple Sand Rocket (water damage. he stands up straight like a turret and fires while rotating three times),
3- Short Lunge (like his peons),
4- Power Lunge (Long range with Paralysis Virus. Very devastating if hit by because this is his most powerful attack!)
5- Sand Swim (damages on contact like his peons),
6- Emerge (leaves the sand and stands up above ground)
(watch for his movements, he may sometimes stop then face someone to attack. Pay attention to his Dorsal Fin above the sand to see what he's up to)

-On foot-
1- Sand Rocket (water damage, but his head-butt also hurts with knockdown!),
2- Tail Slap (very annoying, and has some good range to worsen it. Tends to use this as a combo several times),
3- Hip Bump (also very annoying, has nasty range too when caught off-guard),
4- Sliding Tackle,
5- Idle stomp (minimal damage, but somewhat annoying),
6- Sand Dive (dives back into the sand and starts "swimming" around again).

This is not for super gameplay, but merely a "show and tell" for a friend.
