Monster Train 2 | Guide for Complete Beginners | Episode 2
Monster Train returns with all new clans, new enemy factions, new challenges, new modes and more! Defend your Pyre in the classic three-tiered, vertical gameplay that made the original roguelike deckbuilder a hit. In this Complete Beginner's Guide to Monster Train 2, I start a brand new game so you can play along with me as I explain the very basics of the game, drawing on my own experience and the great advice I have received from viewers. This guide is non-spoilery, and does not focus on the "best" or "fastest" builds, perfection, speed runs, but rather lays out the fundaments of the UI, the controls, how to fight, the mechanics of combat, how to upgrade cards and spells, what paths to choose, deckbuilding, positioning, some tips and tricks, and the overall strategy of the game so you can best enjoy it on your own terms. I don't prescribe a singular method, but rather expose the tools and shortcuts in the game so you enjoy Monster Train 2 at your own pace!
