La Sonata para piano n.º 14 en do sostenido menor "Quasi una fantasia", Op. 27, n.º 2, popularmente conocida como Claro de luna o Luz de Luna (en alemán Mondscheinsonate), fue escrita por Ludwig van Beethoven en 1801 y publicada en 1802. Se trata de una de las obras más famosas del autor, junto con el primer movimiento de la Quinta Sinfonía, la bagatela para piano Para Elisa y la Novena Sinfonía

Aunque no existe testimonio directo sobre las razones específicas por las que Beethoven decidió el título para ambas piezas que conforman el op. 27 como Sonata Quasi una fantasia, puede ser significativo que la disposición de la presente obra no siga el modelo tradicional de un movimiento de sonata del periodo clásico que seguía el patrón: rápido - lento [rápido] - rápido. En cambio, esta composición posee una trayectoria ponderada hasta el final, manteniendo la música rápida contenida hasta el tercer movimiento.

El primer movimento está en do sostenido menor. El matiz es pianissimo y sólo en algunos pasajes alcanza el mezzoforte, además está escrito en similitud a la forma lied ternario y muchos la ven como de parecidas características a la forma sonata. Una melodía que Hector Berlioz llamó "lamento" se reproduce casi enteramente en la mano derecha.

La obra llegó a ser muy conocida en su tiempo. Berlioz mencionó que «El adagio es uno de esos poemas que el lenguaje humano no acierta a calificar». El alumno de Beethoven, Carl Czerny lo llamó «una escena nocturna, en la que una lastimera voz fantasmal suena en la distancia». The Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor "Quasi una fantasia", Op. 27, No. 2, popularly known as the Moonlight and Moonlight (German Mondscheinsonate), was written by Ludwig van Beethoven 1801 and published in 1802.
