TemplarTribe a regular contributor to the Tamriel Rebuilt Forums sits down and talks to me about his ideas for expanding Morrowind further. For those who don't know, Tamriel Rebuilt is a large-scale mod for Morrowind that adds the Mainland. The default or "vanilla" game takes place in the isle of Vvardenfell, leaving the bulk of the Province of Morrowind unexplored -- Tamriel Rebuilt fixes that.

Discussions such as Open Morrowind (or OpenMW for short) come up, as well as ideas to later, remake old Tamriel Rebuilt Content. In short, if you have any interest in Morrowind at all, you should give that project a look over.
