Movie Review: Ghostbusters Afterlife (2021)
5My #moviereview for #ghostbustersafterlife a fun film that does focus on the original movie, but it works. The big bad is Zul again so they'd obviously talk about the last time they came to the world of the living. There is bad fan service and there is good fan service, this was done right. It's not mocking or trying to replace the original. The moments that have little to do with part 1 are funny, and the comedy isn't slapstick or rude. The tribute to Harold was nicely done and Spangler was treated like he was in the first two films. He wasn't some touchy feely guy, he just focused on his science and loved spores. While I would have preferred the original three being in the film longer, I'm just happy they were there and treated with respect. Unlike that abomination from 2016. I give it a solid B.
