MSI GP65 (2020) - Unboxing and basic disassembly
For many years, the MSI GP series has been among the best budget gaming laptops on the market. Consequently, given its quality and price range, the GP series is designed to go against the Acer Helios, Asus TUF series and Dell G5.
However, the GP version reviewed here is a contender for the mid-range notebook of the year. The first major producer to bring a Comet Lake-H processor to the market, MSI has equipped the GP65 with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 with 8GB of VRAM, 32GB of RAM, a 512 GB SSD and an LG Philips IPS display. While the chassis has mostly remained unchanged from previous iterations, the GP65 10SFK remains a sturdy built machine with excellent performance for the price.
