So, after #330, MightyKombat found me an update to Zelgadis' King of Fighters Memorial Hakufu Sonsaku (older appearing in #s 10 (second opponent), 25, and 330). Well, it's a step in the right direction. Damage is lower, health is at 1000 not 3000, and she's a bit more 2002UM-ish. Well, her beam glitches out on stage sides a lot. She also seems to have less AI now, but has gained an Iori-esque super (or the old version's AI never used it). She also has a sexy KO now, but unlike Cattleya (#397), this one's in the style of Ironmugen's Kula, and this one's actually good, because believe it or not, it's in-character (look up Ikkitousen to see why). It's not bad, but still needs a fixin'.
So what do you get when you cross Zangief with an asshole luchador? You get this. Red Cyclone is the newest Special Operations character technically (not counting Andore Jr.'s update). He's a bit different as he has a totally different system. Firstly, only one super right off the bat, QCF+2P. He also has a chain super where QCB+K or F,D,B,F+P (I think) can be turned into HCF+K or HCB+P (depending on first move), and then HCB+P as a Super Finish) if the timing is right. This is also a royal pain in the ass to do. He also has a grab system where F+2P can be turned into a variety of moves, like B,B+P for an Irish Whip, D+P for a Piledriver, or U+2P for a Backbreaker. His damage is also high and the CLSNs don't seem great. He also comes with a meaty 150 defense by default. His palette also flashes back with his other palettes, and his mask disappears when F+P is used with his grab. I will admit, his intro where he launches Sakura with a fart is fucking hilarious. Fun if you can use it right.
