Helldivers 2 is a third-person cooperative shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was released on February 8, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. The game is set a century after the events of the first game, where Super Earth emerged victorious against the Terminids, Cyborgs, and The Illuminate. In this sequel, Super Earth has established farms on human-colonized worlds to extract a valuable resource called E-710 from Terminids, which produce it upon death. However, containment breaches release the Terminids, causing chaos and destruction. Simultaneously, a new threat, the Automatons, emerges, posing a significant danger to humanity.
