0. Copy your Gamefolder and create one just for Multiplayer, with which you continue
1. Install the 1.41 HD patch in case your game isn't version 1.41 HD yet.
2. add the whole folder of your newly updated game to your Anti Virus exceptions
3. Extract the AscensionMultiplayerSetup in its own folder inside your gamefolder
4. Install the UCP to that gamefolder
5. Copy all the maps over to your game folder's mapsExtreme folder
6. install the mod.exe by executing it one level deep inside yourgame folder next to the config.json
