This event premiered live on 1/27/23 where The National WWII Museum along with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) presented this webinar on International Holocaust Remembrance Day and discussed the importance of music during the Holocaust, as well as Violins of Hope, a private collection of violins that belonged to many Jewish people during World War II. (Read about the violins here: https://www.violins-of-hope.com/; more information to follow.) During this webinar, students were able to learn about the importance of music during the Holocaust, and heard from an artist from the LPO as they played one of the violins from the Violins of Hope collection. The audio was corrupted for the violinist's performance, but a a short Video clip was taken live that has been included.
