My Complete PS1 Collection - Part Two
27Hello and welcome to the second part of a very special new series where we'll be diving into my complete PlayStation 1 collection!
The PlayStation is such an amazing console to collect for as it has such a large and varied library of games and this collection has become so fast as it was one of the first consoles I really started collecting for around 6-7 years ago!
The PS1 came at such an important point in my life, around my teenage years and this episode we look at the effects it had on my life from there onwards - trust me its a big influence!
Because the collection so so vast I'll be breaking this series down into parts and each episode well be diving into different genres of games from the PS1's vast collection of games.
This time I'll be focusing in on the following genres of games:
Sports Games
3D Shooters
Adventure / Platform Games
and my personal favorite:
EXTREME SPORTS GAMES!!!
The PlayStation came at such an innovative time for gaming and made so many huge advances!
The graphics where of course a huge upgrade from the 16 bit days, we had our first analogue controllers, games where being geared more towards adult gamers and the use of CD technology meant for the first time games could have CD quality soundtracks and audio!
So strap in and get ready for a trip back through time with hidden gems, forgotten classics and PlayStation memories!
