I finally managed to replace the power cord on my CoCo and I was able to check it out.
1st thing I noticed was the horribly fuzzy picture I got on the RF out and it doesn't appear that I am able to do anything about it since there is no composite out or something like that on this machine.
I tried loading some games from 'tape' but only about half of them worked.
I assume that I only have a 16k machine and the games that didn't work simply need more memory.
