My FNaF 4 Bot plays through the entire game
6Ok, for real this is the last bot. This one is by far the most complicated one. I went in thinking this one was going to be easy since the gameplay is pretty straightforward, but boy was I wrong lol. Turns out, you have to actually prioritize who the guard checks. And I'll explain why. Let's say that everyone is active: The Freddles are building up, Foxy is in the closet, and Bonnie and Chica are at their doors. Normally when you play the game, you get to decide who to check. But the bot is just code that I tell it to run, so I had to manually specify who to check first. But how did I do it? Well, I had to make a priority system. The priority system tells the bot who to check first above any other animatronic. Think about the FNaF 1 cameras where the game has to choose who to display if there's no graphic for multiple animatronics at once. It's kinda the same here but more complicated. And the reason it's more complicated is that I had to add 2 priority systems. We'll call them Stage 1 and Stage 2. If each animatronic is at stage 1, they're active and should be checked on but it's not urgent. At stage 2, It's urgent and needs to be checked on before you can check on any stage 1 animatronic. For example, Bonnie standing at the end of your hall is considered stage 1, but if he's at your door, that's stage 2. So if any animatronic is at stage 2, everyone on stage 1 doesn't matter at all. So let's say that multiple animatronics are on stage 2, who will the bot check first? That's where I had to implement another priority system. I actually had to make 4 priority systems. 2 for if Mad Freddy is off and 2 for if Mad Freddy is on. And if you're curious about who takes priority over who in this bot: I'll tell you here. Without Mad Freddy at Stage 1: NM Bonnie ＞ NM Chica ＞ NM Freddy ＞ NM Foxy. Without Mad Freddy at Stage 2: NM Freddy ＞ NM Foxy ＞ NM Chica ＞ NM Bonnie. With Mad Freddy at Stage 1: NM Foxy ＞ NM Freddy ＞ NM Bonnie ＞ NM Chica. And also the bot only controls the Night Phase and Fun with plushtrap.
One more thing: The guard running around going crazy when Nightmare Fredbear/Nightmare runs around isn't a glitch. It's completely intentional because they have a timer where they can jumpscare you if you're idle for long enough.
