- Grimm! Grimm! Would you care to enlighten your audience on the sudden shift from the glitz and glamour of F1, to the grit and dirt of professional street racing?

- What can I say about it? Coming out of the 2012 season, I had a seat with the most coveted team in the history of Formula One. And then at the start of the new year, I'm being notified that the team has suddenly dropped me for a more obedient driver. One, whom won't pose even the slightest threat against the team's lead driver, or his chances at a championship.

- Harsh words. But why exit out of F1 completely? With your list of achievements, any other team would be dying for you to sign with them.

- Honestly, I wasn't feeling challeged anymore. You can only beat the same guys so many times, before staring at them in your rear-view becomes more taxing than driving the same circuits, year after year.

- Now, a hypothetical question. If you do come back in the next season (2014), what are your thoughts behind the design and reduced engine power of the new cars?

- Two things. One, whoever was put in charge of designing the body of the cars, needs to be taken out back and shot by a firing squad. Two, the FIA has their heads so far up their own arses that, in the name safety, they're slowly killing the spirit of the sport. As drivers we're continuously told to push it to, and beyond, the limiter to get results. Danger is naturally apart of this sport, it's the thing that draws people to it and keeps them engaged. Without it, we might as well function as American Wrestling. Staged and predictable to no end.

- Very bold statements. But if you had the power to revolutionize the sport, itself, what would you do to shake things up?

- Bring in fresh blood, from a manufacturing point of view. Instead of using the same house-hold names for engine designs, I would bring in companies like Audi, Porsche, Bugatti, or Koenigsegg to build alongside what's already in place. I would have new tracks designed, or reconditioned, so that they could utilize the full potential of the drivers navigating them. Have tyres with better, and stronger, compounds developed so there's always action on the track, and not in the pits.

- Spoken like a true innovator. Well, best wishes on your journey.
