Nemesis Reborn is a Bolliger & Mabillard Inverted Coaster that originally opened in 1994 at @officialaltontowers. Initially operating simply as Nemesis, the attraction was designed by John Wardley, who became well-known for creating some of the UK's most iconic roller coasters, including Oblivion, Galactica and The Smiler. Nemesis operated from 1994 until 2022, when Alton Towers announced that Nemesis would remain closed throughout the entire 2023 season in order to undergo a retrack and major refurbishment. 18 months later and Nemesis is back with a vengeance as Nemesis Reborn! The entire renovation consisted of all track and supports being replaced, with the exception of the lift hill, station and brakes. The refurb also included the addition of tons of new theming around Forbidden Valley, with the main centerpiece drawing visitor's attention being the brand new eye at the front of Nemesis' station.
