This is the start of a series I have been working on for a while, an early taste of going back to the heyday of 3D and PC gaming. PowerVR took hold in the Dreamcast but it was only 1 player from the PC space vying for console relevancy. The Neon 250 is the direct compatriot of the Dreamcast in the PC 3D accelerator market. How good was it? How did it work? What made it so forward looking and which was better?
