NFS Undercover(Wii) flat tires pursuit | stock Eclipse GT
Flat tire pursuit challenge in Need For Speed Undercover for Nintendo Wii. Not the first time I've tried but first time I got decent pursuit and did not get busted in the end.
The idea of such pursuit came to me during my attempt to complete the game without doing any upgrades to stock Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. Currently I am around 70% of the game, so it goes well. But long story short, I noticed that pursuit in missions where you use your own car are rather tricky with such a low-end car after you progress with the game. Especially after you drive on flat tires after going through spike strip.
Rules of the challenge:
- Only cars you can start a game with can be used
- There must not be any modification to the car that affects it's performance or behaviour in the game (rank upgrades does not count so you are free to have them as you cannot choose not to)
- Number of wrecked cop cars are calculated AFTER you puncture all your tires on a spike stripe. Does not matter if you physically hit the car or create a situation where a cop car got wrecked by his buddies or envoirnment - it counts
- You are not allowed to use elements of the map that can get destroyed, yet if cops destroy them and wreck their buddies - it counts
- You are only allowed to use destroyable map elements when you want to escape cops but after hitting such element numer of wrecked cops does not count up anymore so be careful what you do
- You must escape the pursuit and not get busted
In my case I got 6 wrecked cops before going through spike stripe, so my wrecked cops conter starts with 7th wrecked as the first. Before hitting destroyable element of the map wrecked cops counter showed 52 cops therefore I wrecked 52 - 6 that eguas 46 cops wrecked during this attempt of the challenge.
Would love to see someone else attempting this challenge. If you do, let me know in the comments with link to you video.
I strongly encourage you to do crazy stuff that can bust the challenge but are cool like I tried to climb that hill with lot of cops behind me at 6:50. In general, climbing up hills with so slow damaged car is totally awesome.
Best moments:
1:00 - cop going back like crazy
1:57 - going through spike strip, challenge starts
3:00 - cop in the background doing barrel roll
4:29 - no way it could've worked, but i tried
6:50 - difficult hill climbing attempt (failed)
13:55 - almost got myself busted
18:20 - i think cops did more damage a second later
19:07 - well known bug with looking back inside this tunnel
20:28 - another close call, almost busted
25:00 - did not expect to wreck this one but it happened
26:06 - super close call, almost busted
36:25 - now i just wanted to run away, had enough
38:41 - pursuit summary
