349Welcome to Niche – a genetics survival game! As our tribe's population grows we can finally start to focus on promoting specific traits as the population splits between Horns and Fangs!

Niche, developed by Team Niche and published by Stray Fawn Studio, is a blend of turn-based strategy and simulation, with a strong focus on population genetics.
In Niche you must guide your animal tribe and find an ecological niche for it to fit in. You must compete against environmental pressures such as extreme temperatures, food scarcity, and even carnivorous predators as your tribe expands and explores their habitat in search of food and additional nesting opportunities!
Your animals have a limited lifespan in Niche, which places an increasingly important focus on procreation, which highlights the role of genetics amongst your growing tribe population. Will you be able to encourage positive genetic traits while limiting the spread of less desirable characteristics?
