I wanted to see how elevators move in NieR Automata, so I made this. All timings are *supposedly* correct, as I checked it frame-by-frame on the timeline.
I believe how it works is: go half the way, stop, unload the initial map, load the next map, continue going, load the effects on the way. I believe when you go to surface, it stops the game to keep the timing, as the game has enough time to load the smaller map but not the full map
