for something I'm working on. No promises for its release!

the reason I call this a "nightmare edit" is that it was very annoying to set up. Basically MP4s crush luminance to a certain, slightly smaller range than regular RGB, and because I was stubborn about maintaining visual consistency with whatever "black" it would spit out, I had to shamble together a horrific combination of cropped and masked clips of a loading screen so that things would look okay. Runs/renders horrendously slow and is 5 layers, but it works! although in hindsight I probably could've made it in 4. oh well!
