Arnice realizes that the Night is getting stronger and requests assistance from a former Knight. Arnice is assigned one final test to show that she is able to deliver the Saint to the Blue Alter when the time arrives. Lloyde needs one final gem to complete the collection. The gem is called Sleeping Drop, and with the gem comes a dangerous curse. With the last gem in Lloyde's collection, Arnice learns of the heavy price he must pay for those gems. Professor Alucard gives Arnice a rough sketch of the picture that was in The Black Book.
