NVIDIA ACE enables intelligent in game characters powered by Generative AI. Today we are introducing NeMo SteerLM - a model alignment technique that allows developers to train large language models to provide responses aligned with particular attributes ranging from humorous, to toxic, to helpful. This follow-up to our Computex 2023 demo features Kai having a conversation with Jin, a Ramen Shop owner who has seen some hard times with his Ramen business. Using a SteerLM aligned NeMo Large Language Model, we can influence how Jin responds to a given prompt at inference time.
