Hello all gamers !
Today in the second episode of the GPUs head to head, we bring you the mythical AMD Fury X against the also mythical Nvidia GTX 980 Ti.
These two marked a generation of players, as on the one hand we had the promise of a new memory system for GPUs called HBM (High Bandwith Memory) which would be the "future" and on the other we had the continuation of a very successful generation close to all players called Maxwell with the 980 Ti with an incredible 6GB (Nvidia doing its thing by delivering less VRAM than its competitor).
I remember at the time that we had a friend of ours who wanted to buy a new graphics card and this was his question, as he was unsure between the AMD Fury X and the Nvidia GTX 980 Ti.
AMD Fury X reached Legacy status in June 2022 (more than a year ago) and Nvidia GTX 980 Ti continues to receive the brand's latest drivers, but I doubt anyone at Nvidia wastes time with game optimizations for the latest tittles.
