Obscure : The Aftermath (psp)
RétroGaming 2.0 ;0)Presents you "Obscure : The Aftermath"is a sequel to the game Obscure. The game picks up two years after the first game left off. The story so far is that two years ago a group of students were locked inside their high school (Leafmore High), while being hunted by monsters that were created by means of biological experiments by their principals Herbert Friedman. A few of the students survived the incident and in the process killed their principal. In the meantime they have finished high school and moved on to college located in a nearby town called Fallcreek. Most of them have tried to forget about the incident, but now strange black flowers are starting to appear on campus. Students start making the flower into tea, or smoke it for a drugging effect. They find out that when the flower is ingested in some ways highly real trips are induced, but which often turn out to be nightmares. But many of the students realize to late that once the plants germinate inside of their bodies, what used to be only a bad trip turns into reality.

Gameplay
Obscure: The Aftermath, plays very similar to other survival games. The player is suddenly placed into a horrifying situation and must fight inexplicably appearing monsters. To do this, the player has to use weapons that can be found on the ground. These often include melee weapons, such as golf clubs or baseball bats but later on also firearms such as pistols or shotguns, as well as power tools such as chainsaws. The enemies in the game range from partially deformed humans, which seem to be in a zombified state, or extremely mutated fictional monsters, as well as mythical creatures such as harpies.

RétroGaming 2.0 ;0) Vous présente "Obscure : The Aftermath"est une suite du jeu Obscure. Le jeu reprend deux ans après l'arrêt du premier match. L'histoire jusqu'à présent est qu'il y a deux ans, un groupe d'étudiants a été enfermé dans leur lycée (Leafmore High), alors qu'ils étaient pourchassés par des monstres créés au moyen d'expériences biologiques par leurs directeurs Herbert Friedman. Quelques-uns des élèves ont survécu à l'incident et ont tué leur directeur. Entre-temps, ils ont terminé leurs études secondaires et sont passés à l'université située dans une ville voisine appelée Fallcreek. La plupart d'entre eux ont essayé d'oublier l'incident, mais maintenant d'étranges fleurs noires commencent à apparaître sur le campus. Les élèves commencent à transformer la fleur en thé ou à la fumer pour un effet drogue. Ils découvrent que lorsque la fleur est ingérée d'une certaine manière, des voyages très réels sont provoqués, mais qui s'avèrent souvent être des cauchemars. Mais beaucoup d'étudiants se rendent compte trop tard qu'une fois que les plantes ont germé à l'intérieur de leur corps, ce qui n'était qu'un bad trip devient réalité.

Gameplay
Obscure: The Aftermath, se joue de manière très similaire aux autres jeux de survie. Le joueur est soudainement placé dans une situation horrible et doit combattre des monstres apparaissant de manière inexplicable. Pour ce faire, le joueur doit utiliser des armes que l'on peut trouver au sol. Il s'agit souvent d'armes de mêlée, telles que des clubs de golf ou des battes de baseball, mais plus tard également d'armes à feu telles que des pistolets ou des fusils de chasse, ainsi que des outils électriques tels que des tronçonneuses. Les ennemis dans le jeu vont des humains partiellement déformés, qui semblent être dans un état zombifié, ou des monstres fictifs extrêmement mutés, ainsi que des créatures mythiques telles que les harpies.
