This is a route to quickly farm the Octopath COTC battle tested NPCs (level 85). Note that you need to complete the city's expert hunt before you can fight the NPC.

You can of course optimize your team if your levels / gear are not like mine yet.

Since I had already gathered the battle tested weapons, I recruited some of them in a battle to become ally. Swap Cragspear and Clearbrook if you like - it's somewhat the same. The order of the other cities is more or less to minimize tp'ing around.

Party 1 (until Clearbrook):

Scarecrow / Primrose
Odette / Adelle
Lynette / Viola
Millard or Sofia / Theo


Party 2 (Cragspear onwards):

Fiore / Primrose
Odette / Adelle
Lynette / Viola
Sofia / Theo
