So in a comment thread on the Oddworld Facebook group, members were discussing the SoulStorm soundtrack. But then the catchy vending machine jingle came up, despite being 24 seconds long.
And I've gotta say, it grew on me... VERY quickly. It's like Josh Gabriel and Stephan Schütze found a way to give the Oddworld franchise its own counterpart to the "Shopping" theme from TheSims. I love this little ditty, so I figured why not set it to some Exoddus footage of Abe's ongoing Brew dependence once he gets to Disc 2? It's so goofy, and given all the Exoddus footage is from my old 2013 playthrough of the game, I was too proud of this not to share it.
As for the Japanese on the bottles? Oh yeah!
So it was localised to "SoulStorm Beer" in Abe '99, which prompted me to make that into an emote for my streams, given Australia (especially Victoria) has quick the affectionate association with beer.
