[OLD] Brief Rampage Episode 1: Left 4 Dead

Welcome, people, to my new series of videos! As you can tell, it's called Brief Rampage. My intention is to do shortened and cut videos from different games every episode. And then, if you ask me in a comment or PM, I can do a more extended video. And most of the game's details will be in the descriptions. This one is somewhat longer than I wanted, but I found it hard to cut parts out. Oh well.
So, this episode is (rather obviously) Left 4 Dead. For those who haven't played this game (which would be a surprise, it's been out for years, though killing zombies may not be everyone's thing), Left 4 Dead is a Co-operative survival FPS set in post-apocalypse America, specifically Florida. You play as one of four survivors, and some of it was apparently designed to make it feel like you are starring in a zombie movie. There are six campaigns, and they can be played separately or in 'order' to go through the full story of the survivors (plus there's one comic on the L4D website).
Left 4 Dead runs on the Source Engine (it WAS developed by Valve after all), and it had some cool features show up in it for the first time, alongside the base physics and such. There's a thing called the AI Director, which dynamically spawned AI according to stats it created about players (such as their character's 'stress levels', though I have no idea how they calculated that) as well as things like the Finales of each campaign. It basically promises that you won't fight the same enemies in exactly the same places all the time, and so far I've found that to be true. There's also a lesser 'director' process running which apparently compiles the music you hear according to a few stats as well, which I found pretty cool to learn. (It doesn't generate them from scratch, of course, but there are a bunch of sound files it accesses and combines)
There are also two other modes; Versus (which allows four extra players to play as special infected (the Smokers, Hunters, Boomers and the Tank. Not the Witch, though. That remains an NPC because of how OP it would be if player controlled) during the campaign levels, switching the teams every round. The other mode is Survival, which we play after getting killed in the campaign. Basically, survive for certain amounts of time to get medals.
