Omi's Video Game Vault: 007 Goldeneye
1Released for the Nintendo 64 in 1997. Made by Rareware,with music by Grant Kirkhope and Graeme Norgate. Rare's first attempt at a first-person shooter,and a movie game to boot. Goldeneye was my first Bond movie,and I had become on the series since. Rare actually had exclusive access to the film's sets,which is how they were able to recreate areas from the movie almost exactly. Everyone knows though this game truly shined for it's multiplayer. It was definitely the bomb. It...hasn't aged terribly well I'm afraid,but it's still an enjoyable (albeit difficult) game. Shaken,not stirred.
