Eine Stunde Gameplay von "SteamWorld Dig", einem Puzzle-Action-Plattformer entwickelt und veröffentlicht von Image & Form im Jahre 2013 für den Nintendo 3DS so wie Windows, OS X, Linux mit darauffolgenden Ports für Playstation 4, Playstation Vita und Wii U (2014), Xbox One (2015) und Nintendo Switch (2020), hier gezeigt in der Playstation 4 Version.
Im Spiel übernimmt man die Kontrolle über eine Roboterlebensform in einer Robotergesellschaft, welche zu Beginn des Spiels eine Mine von seinem Onkel in einem abgelegenen Wild-West-Städtchen erbt und fortan diese erkundet. Mit immer besseren Werkzeugen deren Upgrades man nach und nach durch seine Expeditionen in die Tiefe finanziert dringt man immer tiefer und in immer neue Bereiche der Mine vor.
Das Ganze ist in einem klassischen Wild-West-Steampunk-Setting angesetzt und wenn auch im Großen und Ganzen etwas kurz ein sehr nettes und solides Spiel, ebenso stellt es den 2. Eintrag in dem mittlerweile zur Serie gewordenen "SteamWorld"-Franchise dar.

In the game you take control over a robot lifeform in a robot society, who at the beginning of the game inherits a mine from his uncle in a Wild West backwater town and starts to explore it. With gradually improving tools which are paid by your expeditions throughout the mines you go deeper and deeper into the mines and explore new areas.
The whole things is made in a classic Wild West Steampunk setting and even if in the big picture it is a bit short, but a really nice and solid little game. It also marks the 2nd installment in the "SteamWorld" franchise who after this quickly became a series on its own.
