One UI 5.1 based Samsung Galaxy Watch update is available with HUGE improvements all around #samsung
1New Samsung Galaxy Watch firmware has many improvements designed for One UI 5.1 like new remote Camera controller with the ability to change camera lenses from Watch to your Phone.
Ive been using Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 for the past few months. And my journey with Galaxy Watch 4 is very smooth. Recently update updating my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra to One UI 5.1, ive seen an update notification on my Galaxy Watch 4. On the internet i saw that a new update has been released for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series and Galaxy Watch 4 series. The update looks to be a minor one with the notes stating that it provides improved stability. But the size of the update tells me a different story. It is over 300MB! The Galaxy Watch's Camera Controller app now give users access to zoom controls on the smartwatch along with January 2023 security patches, and a new device diagnostics tool to Samsung's latest Wear OS smartwatch.
Procedures of updating watch software with an Android phone:
1. On the connected phone, navigate to and open the Galaxy Wearable app.
2. Tap Watch settings, and then tap Watch software update.
3. If your watch displays a Home tab, and swipe to and tap Watch software update or Band software update. Tap Download and install.
4. For some watches, you will need to tap About watch, About band, or About Gear to access the software update menu.
