3Metal Gear was developed and published by Konami in 1987 for the MSX2 and later on other consoles. Hideo Kojima (the mastermind behind the series) directed and designed the game and the characters. I DO NOT OWN ANY RIGHTS TO THIS FRANCHISE!
The Metal Gear game that started it all! I'm so glad to be finally playing this on my channel. This is the first time I did a full game from start to finish. It's the shortest game in the series so I thought why not. I'm playing the PS2 version which is from MGS 3: Subsistence. For those who are wondering, these classic games are on disc 2 while the main game Snake Eater is on disc 1.
I will also be playing Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake from Subsistence as well since it does have better screen than the Master Collection. I will be playing the Metal Gear games from the order they were released. I figure it's cool to see how the franchise evolved. Of course it all started with a game called Metal Gear from 1987.
