Despite it giving me fits, I actually enjoyed both the song itself and the beatmap.

I would say this is closer to the middle/average of my current playing ability than anything, at least as far as SS-ing songs goes. I can pass low-4* songs already, but SS's there are out of the question. And for the most part, anything above ~3.4-3.5* is un-SS-able for me, while anything from 3.4* down to 3* would require a lot of work to do. It feels like a long, hard road, don't get me wrong, but I knew it was going to be like this when I decided I was only going for SS ranks.

Osu! is a rhythm game based off of Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and the American release Elite Beat Agents. In these games you click circles to the rhythm of the song. Osu! also has different rankings you can shoot for, with SS being the best (Hit every note and have 100% accuracy). THere are also mods like Hard Rock, HIdden, FLashlight, and Double Time/Nightcore if you want to increase the difficulty even more.
