6Othercide is a horror tactical role-playing game with turn-based combat and a pseudo-isometric view. Developed by Lightbulb Crew, the title releases on July 28, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, while a Nintendo Switch release is expected to occur at some point during the summer.
Set in an ethereal monochromatic version of France, you are the last stand between nightmarish creatures and an unprotected humanity. Lead your army of gifted warriors in their desperate fight to protect mankind and prevent reality from shattering.
Lightbulb Crew is an indie development studio composed of a talented and passionate team based in Paris and Stockholm since 2013. SUFFERING
"Among all the Others in the Pantheon, Suffering is one of the oldest and most powerful. Invigorated by human pain for millennia, his power and influence have grown to bring him closer to the veil. Linked to the Child, Suffering gratified its host with immortality, while feeding on his misery. When its Chosen One fractured reality, Suffering incarnated in an egg, a nucleus of pure greed that awaited only one thing: to exist at last."
THE CITY
"Quarantine was declared. The City gates closed forever. By trying to protect themselves, they did nothing more than shut themselves up. A rolling slaughterhouse for the plague and easy pickings for Suffering to breed the perfect host."
PLOT
Descend into Humanity's last hope. The Daughters, echoes of the greatest warrior to ever live, are all who stand before Suffering and death. Lead your army of Daughters to battle. Your prowess in combat will decide their fate, shape their abilities and personality. Make the toughest decision and sacrifice one to heal another - survivors will get stronger, ready to fight the next battle.
Combat is an intricate dance of spectacular actions and counters: plan ahead of time and set up impressive chains of abilities to outsmart the enemy using the Dynamic Timeline System. Fight in epic boss battles against the sources of Suffering—dread creatures pulled from the worst of Humanity's crimes against itself.
You will fight. You will fail. You will rise again.
