Outlast Walkthrough - Part 1 - Security w/ Commentary

Our goal is find the security room and unlock the front door to make our exit from this evil place... however, nothing is ever that simple. We search for a keycard to the security door and begin to attempt an escape, revealing some of our most terrifying adversaries in the process.
Via viewer request I started a playthrough of Outlast. I previously recorded the introductory sequence which you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeSFe_PtYsU . This video picks up the gameplay where that left off.
I am used to being able to take a very slow approach to these types of horror games, but it seems Outlast's goal is to make you run in fear a lot of the time. Hiding works for awhile, but to get past enemies you will have to run.
