In this video I discuss how you should pick an off-meta hero in competitive play!
There are multiple reasoms why but I narrowed it down to 3 of the most commen.
This 3 tank meta has gotten out of hand and we need a break from this.
1.Mobility and Easier Picks,Comfortability- This tip is really helpful to those who can't stand those one shot kills and turrets.
With way more mobility, you can easily avoid getting picked off and get picks yourself.
Not only that but as a smaller hero, most of the enemy team will ignore you until you become a problem.
Of course, by time they realize you have become a problem, you've gotten a kill and your team can rush in for the finish.
2.Hard to Counter- This one is so important!!! People have gone into this season with the mindset that the meta will stay 3 tanks.
This means most of the peole that play competitve have trained for hours on multiple tanks and healer's.
This is great for you!! Most tanks can not kill a dps with a one hit kill due to the mobility of most attacking hero's.
Not only will you annoy the enemy team, but you can cause the enemy to switch for you. This is MAJOR!!!
If someone on the enemy team switches to deal with you, they might not know how to play that hero.
That gives you time to take advantage of that and get the kill for your team.
Anyime the enemy team has to switch to deal with you, thats great!!!
3.Boring, Can Make You Perform Worse-
Believe it or not, when you are playing a hero you dont like, it WIll effect your performance!!
This triple tank meta has been bugging the community for a long time and a majority of the peole agree that changes need to be made.
To avoid messing up your performance, switch it up every now and then!!!.
