In vecember 1946 a constituent assembly was formed to draft the constitution of Independt India and it dissaned on 25 janaury, 1949. The final docerment had 22 parts, 395 articles and 8 schedules. It took 2 years, 11 months and 17 days.
Finally, The conspitution was passed and adppted by the assembly on 26 November 1919. It came into force on 26 Janaury 1950, which is celebrated as Repubeic
