0The confidant system is like a buddy system but with benefits, not THAT KIND Of BENEFITS o-O. Is more like if we make stronger our bond with that person e got perks or the option to make a unique persona.
Each confident is related to an arcana, imagine this like constelaltion or zodiac, there are 19 in total (DEATH, LOVER, ETC) (PERSONA UNIVERSE)
If you had an stronger (bond levels) arcana like lovers or magician and you created a new persona of that arcana, that specific persona will be had an exp boost.
The confidant system becomes relevant for two reasons:
1. The calendar system
2. The Stats system
Since the game take place in a student life you must find the eqilibrium between beign a nomal student and sees activities. So you must plan what are you gonna do each day, that means choice a confidant to spend time or doing random crap.
Some confidants demands of you had particular stats (KNOWLEDGE, GUTS, CHARM, ETC) before you can unlocked that arcana. For example Fuuka need someone that taste her cooking for that you need a lot of GUTS, yeah she cook pretty much poison. Mitsuru-senpai demands you reach the genius categorie in knowledge, im coming for you Senpai :3
