In Papers, Please, the player takes on the role of a border-crossing immigration officer in the fictional dystopian Eastern Bloc–like country of Arstotzka, which has been and continues to be at political hostilities with its neighboring countries. The player must review travelers' passports and other supporting paperwork against an ever-growing list of rules using a number of tools and guides. Tasks include allowing in those with the proper paperwork while rejecting those without all proper documents, detaining those with falsified information, and balancing personal finances.

Welcome to my attempt at being an upstanding member of a Socialist Republic, needless to say... it doesn't go well! I make mistakes, I let people in that I probably shouldn't, I get invited to a seedy bar on a couple of occasions (yes I went on my day of, Arstotskan girls for life! And I somehow end up... well... watch and find out!

This game is such a fun game to pass the time with, a lot more in-depth than first appears but genuinely is a good time... dodgy Eastern European accents optional (I tried, let me know what you think!)
