Part 6 - The Bloody Battle of Kuta River Bridge
0In the year of 1274, a mongol fleet led by war general Khotun Khan invades the peaceful Japanese islands of Tsushima.
Samurai Jin Sakai and his uncle Lord Shimura take up arms against the invasion and lead the island's samurai in attempt to repel them.
The battle ends in disaster with their samurai forces decimated, Lord Shimura captured, and Jin Sakai severely wounded and left for dead.
He is found and nursed back to health by Yuna, a local thief, who informs him that the island has fallen to the mongol invaders.
Jin, consumed by vengeance, returns once more and storms Khotun Khan's stronghold at Castle Kaneda in an attempt to rescue Shimura, but is defeated and thrown from the castle bridge.
Assuming Jin to be dead, Khotun departs to conquer all of Tsushima.
Weakened and powerless against the mongol army, Jin employs guerilla tactics and recruits allies including Yuna, her blacksmith brother Taka, sake merchant Kenji, archer Sadanobu Ishikawa, samurai Masako Adachi, and his mercenary friend Ryuzo along with his Straw Hat rōnin in order to overthrow the Mongol hordes.
As Jin liberates and slowly frees the lands of Tsushima from the Mongol invasion, the legend of "The Ghost", a samurai spirit of vengeance begins to howl upon the winds.
