A small block starts sliding down from the point A on a slide of irregular shape as shown in the figure. Here x and y axes represent the horizontal and the vertical directions respectively. Coefficient of friction between the slide and the block is 0.6 everywhere. Radius of curvature of the slide everywhere is large enough and speed of the block is small enough so that normal component of the acceleration becomes negligible as compared to acceleration of free fall. At which point may the block stop ?
