Who needs deep, complex story??

It's been a long time since the playthrough of the 2013 remake/reboot/thing, so it's time to check out the original game!
I don't think I've ever beaten this properly, at least not without playing with cheats as a kid, and I remember very little beyond the first episode. So while this is kind of a blind playthrough, I won't officially call it one.
If it was a cake, the cake itself would be the lack of memory, and it's sprinkled all over with bits of memory.
