About time that I modded a Nintendo 3DS. It was a lot easier than I thought with the brilliant guide: https://3ds.hacks.guide/. I managed to remove the region-lock and prepare the handheld for some homebrew apps and videogames. I'm pleased with the results and wanted to share my experience.
Also there are some bargains to be found on good prices handhelds.
