Years ago, an ATM was vandalized and dumped behind Cafe Leblanc. Futaba discovered it and used her vast intellect to create a robotic friend out of the broken remains. From this endeavor ATM-kun was born, who became her best friend and sole company in high jinks. One day while running errands, they stumbled into the Metaverse and found themselves inside a castle. However, this palace and many others had been seized by a mysterious and mighty youth wearing a black mask. Using his shadow cronies, he easily cornered the duo. However, ATM-kun could no longer stand by idly as he saw his creator under attack.
