IN-GAME NOTES
Hm. I could try making a stir-fry with no oil using the Vermecilli rice noodles and add some white-meat Chicken and carrots and perhaps some green peppers?
WHAT I DID
I barely followed the steps. Lol. I did a lot of variations with this one since there was a lot I wouldn't be able to do/eat. But anyway, it turned out for the good.
7 oz. Rice vermicelli: Check. I grabbed a handful from the package of rice noodles I normally have. They're rice stick noodles so I had to break them a bit first. After the pot came to a boil, I put them in to soak, then I strained out the excess water.
4 cabbage leaves: Skipped.
2/3 small onion: Skipped. Unessential as far as I'm concerned. Less onions I use the better. Besides, there were already a bit of onions used to tender/season the Chicken anyways.
2 2 lengths of carrot: Partially followed. I just used Baby Carrots and I chopped them each in half.
4 shitake mushrooms (fresh): Skipped
2 small green peppers: Partially followed. I took a small piece of green pepper and diced it to make a few squares that I could just throw in and easily add. Besides, I wasn't sure how my body would react so as always when experimenting with something less familiar, I used a little.
7 oz. Side pork (sliced): Replaced with Chicken that I first cleansed and seasoned and what not. Normal procedures.
2 tbsps. Cooking oil: Skipped. Whenever I fry things, I avoid oil completely. Oil just makes things worse, even a little bit can change the way I feel.
I skipped the whole Mixed Seasoning steps/ingredients.
So essentially what I did is I first added the white-meat Chicken (after the preparations were complete) to the pan and started to fry it (again, with no oil) on a medium heat. Once the colour of the meat changed, I added the chopped carrots and raised the heat a tad then lowered it again after a bit. Soon after, I added the green peppers. Now the mistake I made was saving the Rice Noodles for the end. I should've done that FIRST. If I did, then I wouldn't have nearly burned the mixture. It did smell like something was burning though but the chicken was fine. It was probably the Rice Noodles that got stuck to the pan. :P
(I had more information added to my Food Diary entry but I had to cut it off because of the room limit.)
