When I was first testing out how to record Phantasmagoria, my first choice was to try FRAPS to record. At first, it didn't cooperate in the slightest, and I had to go into dosbox and change a tiny bit about how it ran the game. I followed the instructions exactly and, as far as I knew, I was ready to go.

Sadly, upon testing it out by using the second chapter opening, not only did the audio lag repeatedly, but the game itself was running extremely slow- a known problem for recording dosbox games with FRAPS. I barely got control of the game, however, before disaster struck.

The video cut off just before I broke into hysterical laughter, because the game crashed. I decided to look for an alternate means of recording this game.
